These beautiful creatures are being killed in Japan, Samoa, and lots of other countries , and some of the targeted species are already endangered species of whale (eg: the Humpback whale). "So?" you may be saying, "just make a law against the killing of whales". Well, its not as simple as that, the problem being that Whale hunting and meat is a tradition in these countries, and part of their culture and heritage, yet, the Humpback whales numbers are estimated around 30,000 to 40,000, approximately one third of pre-whaling levels. Once, the Humpback was hunted to the brink of extinction, although now its conservation status is vulnerable. The Whale hunting is also bringing down the business of whale watching, ARGH!!! Even though some laws have been made, it is known that there have been a large number illegal killings.
But what do you think, how could it be fair for everyone?
