“The common mayfly has a life expectancy of just one day.
But is he miserable about it? Not one bit. He fills his day with the things he
loves. He soars. He swoops. He savours every moment. Maybe there’s a lesson in
this for us longer living creatures. Just think. If we embrace life like a
mayfly, what a life that would be! Vodafone! Make the most of now.”http://www.duncans.tv/2007/vodafone-mayfly

How stunning that you have been sharing this information about one of (if not the) most famous artworks known to man!!
I have seen the Monda Lisa (or La Jaconde en francais tee hee) twice in the Louvre Museum in Paris. The thing I found most amazing about the painting is that is actually quite a bit smaller than what you might think but beautiful nevertheless.
And just another bit of useless information, purely because I am walking portal of irrelevant information, after The Da Vinci Code book was released, she was removed from the museum and placed in a different wing altogether because the museum was sick of dealing with die-hard Dan Brown fans trying to find the Holy Grail. If you haven't read the book/seen the movie, this probably won't make much sense but for those who have, there you go!
thank you for commenting! one day i would love to see it!
HI!! Just in relation to the comment you left on my blog...

Hello your blog is so cool, come leave a message on http://nothingplanet.blogspot
I personally think the Mona Lisas a crap painting. I would much rather have a photo of a landscape on Mars (Which I just so happen to have, the print is about 3 metres wide! Not Joking!). What makes the Mona Lisa special? Maybe I need a trained eye. Hmmmm
